How much does an appraisal cost?

How Much Does A Real Estate Appraisal Cost ? 

The average cost for a single family home appraisal is $300.00. From the time you order your home appraisal to the time you receive your completed report is less than one week.

The cost is slightly higher for custom homes, homes over
3,000 square feet or homes on acreage.  You can call us at (559) 761-2370 or fill out the form on right for a free quote.

An appraiser will research your property and give you a personalized  quote. 

What is a "date of death" appraisal?

"Date of Death" is the  date your loved one passed away.  This date is the effective date of your property valuation. We will appraise the property using comparables that sold on or before the DOD. This is also called a "retrospective appraisal"

This type of valuation requires an experienced appraiser with the skills to research, analyst and arrive at a supportable value.

Your completed report will have everything required by the courts, settlements, probate and heirs. Your "Date of Death" appraisal report will be easy to follow and understand.  We write our reports for you and if you have questions we are just a phone call away.

There are several due dates and time limits when inheriting a property.  We advise you to consult with your attorney to avoid penalties.
