What is a "date of death" appraiser?
"Date of Death" is the date your loved one passed away. This date is the effective date of your property valuation. We will appraise the property using comparables that sold on or before the DOD. This is also called a "retrospective appraisal"
This type of valuation requires an experienced appraiser with the skills to research, analyst and arrive at a supportable value.

3. An appraiser will be calling you to schedule an appointment. If property is a rental, our appraiser can call your tenants to set up the appointment.
